ECIS 2022 meeting in Crete

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 36th Conference of the European Colloid and Interface Society (ECIS2022), that will take place from the 4^th to the 9^th of September 2022 in Chania (Crete, Greece) https://ecis2022.org/.

The abstract submission as well as the short-course and conference registrations are open. Please note the deadline for abstract (oral and poster) submission is the 4^th of April 2022.

Under the current conditions, we aim to have four parallel on-site sessions with partial online coverage (all plenary talks and one session).
If however, further COVID pandemic restrictions are applied, provisions exist to move to a full hybrid version (with all sessions running on-line and on-site).

A satellite session on “Tribological effects on rheology of suspensions: Surface forces, contact effects, and chemical modifications” and a special China-Europe Symposium are also planned within the conference.

A short course on “Advanced Characterization and Modelling techniques for Colloids” is scheduled on 3-4 September at the premises of FORTH at Heraklion.

Complementing the scientific program, a diverse social program shall expose the participants to the history, culture and magnificent nature of mountains and beaches of Crete. We look forward to welcoming you to Crete in September.
